Late last year, Virginia Olsen released their Pure Organics Lip Creme. What we have here is a true blue organic lipstick. Its cruelty free and all vegan. It contains all-natural ingredients, void of chemicals that could potentially harm the skin.
Virginia Olsen is very good at delivering good mineral products. But I must admit that I didn't expect it to be as saturated in color and in moisture. It looks and it feels like a regular lipstick.
Virginia Olsen Pure Organics Lip Creme Ingredients: Castor Oil, Beeswax, Carnuba Wax, Sunflower Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Kaolin, Carrot Powder, Roseship Seed Oil, Annatto Seed Powder, Cocoa Powder, Turmeric Powder, Lemon Peel Extract, Rosemary Leaf Extract, and Grapefruit Seed Extract.
What I have here for review is called Crimson Geek. Why Geek? I'm not quite since this kind of color makes me think anything else but. Great thing about mineral makeup and pigments, there are so many uses for them! :) One of which is to change the shade of your lipstick in an instant. :) Virginia Olsen sent along some of their eye colour along with the new Pure Organics Lips Creme. I used the pigments to change the shade my lip color and its texture. :)

So far, Virginia Olsen Pure Organics Lip Creme has exceeded my expectations and have renewed my faith in organic cosmetics. We don't have to compromise after all when it comes to going green. We can have the color, the skin care benefits sans the harmful chemicals and preservatives. I'm glad I wasn't as skeptic to try this one out. I pretty much love this lipstick. The texture, the shade and even the packaging.
