Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte Liptick
If you want to try bright lip color but not overly done, go for a matte lipstick instead. Mattes are very forgiving and they look good on almost anyone (actually, they look good on everyone). But mattes tend to dry the lips, leaving you with chapped, uneven and oftentimes, bruised lips. That's because matte lipstick do not contain a lot of moisturizing ingredients such as petroleum, wax or essential oils. These mentioned ingredients usually provides the slip that makes it easier for you to glide on the product. Matte lipstick on the other hand tugs and pull the sensitive lips making it difficult to apply.
That's why I was quite surprise how easy it was to use the NEW shu uemura rouge unlimited Supreme Matte Lipstick. Finally, a matte lipstick that doesn't dry out the lips. Just a tad bit.
What is matte anyway?
It's solid shade that doesn't have any shift and texture. It's like your craypas if you still remember them. It has no gloss and appears very flat on the skin. No shimmer, glimmers whatsoever. It tones done the look even when you're using bright-colored one like I do on the photo above.
And that's the reason why I chose M PK 376. It's a bright fuchsia pink matte lipstick that pairs well with a lot of makeup looks, from nudes to smokey and even avant garde. It's a great way to spice up a ho-hum day and lends color without being 'too out there'.
What do you think?
