Burning In Water | Shu Uemura X Wong Kar Wai Holiday Collection 2011
They say that the bluest of flame burns the hottest and the brightest. |
Taking inspiration from the poem of Charles Bukowski entitled "Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame", Shu Uemura and Wong Kar Wai built the Holiday Collection 2011 in a whirlwind of colors and emotions with the ever beautiful Sadrinne Pinna as canvass. The 45 second film entitled "Mask" as directed by famous and acclaimed director, Wong Kar Wai, exudes the a cinematographic elegance that he is known for along with a touch of artful grace that of Shu Uemura has always evoked in all of its collections.
It was easy to fall in love with the Shu Uemura X Wong Kar Wai collection, from the intense eye and cheek palettes to the dramatic false eye lashes.
Burning in Water Eye and Cheek Palette isn't for the faint hearted. It's for the adventurous... for those who wear their hearts on their sleeves. It's for those seeking for love and never losing hope that one day it will come. It's for people who never fails to believe in love and knows that despite the hurt, it burns brighter...
I'm quite attached to "wkw" on the palette...
Eyeshadows B1 | B2 | B3 | B4 and Glow on B6 |
Pigmentation is as intense as Wong Kar Wai movie, it goes on smoothly and softly!
Cream Cheek B5 |
And the holographic palette makes it all the more whimsical and romantic...
I'm in love, Shu Uemura x Wong Kar Wai. Encore! Encore!
