Bobbi Brown has perfected the art of foundation. She has revolutionized the way we look at foundations. On average, we try at least 7 foundations before finding a perfect match. During the decade she has been in the makeup and fashion industry, she noticed that all women-no matter their ethnicity- has yellow undertones. That's when she created a line a of yellow-based foundations that resulted to a more even-looking more luminous skin.

During one afternoon, I got reacquainted with all of Bobbi Brown's foundations. It has grown exponentially over the years and it now caters not only to all kinds of skintone but all sorts of skin types as well.

If you want a foundation to give that skin-like texture with light weight coverage, there's my favorite Skin Foundation with SPF15.

If you have oily skin but still want that natural matte look, there's Long-Wear Foundation with SPF 15. This foundation lasts up to 12 hours that can withstand humid conditions.

If it's a natural finish that lasts up to 12 hours without the cake-y fake finish, go for Long-Wear Even Finish Compact Foundation. It's compact cream-type form allows for portability, making it easy for you to bring it along anywhere.

For natural looking glow without the skin, Illuminating Finish Powder Compact Foundation with SPF 12 is the one to choose. Love the radiant finish, thanks to the reflective pigments that optically diffuse skin imperfections and minimizes appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

One of my favorite beauty trick from Bobbi Brown is correcting under eye concealer before foundation. On good skin days and yet my undereye baggie refuse to cooperate, applying a bit of yellow-based concealer instantly brighten up the eyes. It's exactly what Felix is doing here.

Another tip that's rightly important and most often looked over is prepping your skin with products it needs. Find a good skin care product for your skin type and sometimes all you'll need is a compact powder and you're good to go.

Setting a foundation is a must in our climate and Felix stressed this. But you don't have to pack on a lot. His favorite (as well as mine) is Bobbi Brown's Sheer Pressed Powder for its light yet mattifying texture.
