Happy Thursday, loves! Two more days and it's weekend! I can't wait! I plan on asking the husband to go out on a date and grab some sumptuous Thai cuisine. I've been craving Pad Thai and Name Prik for weeks now! It could be the pregnancy that's making me crave more or that I'm getting sick of being stuck at home. With my belly growing bigger and bigger by the day, my movements have become extremely limited.

But enough of this preggy talk, let me show you one of my recent beauty discoveries, Happy Skin Feeling Sculptactular Face Contour Kit.

I knew from the moment I saw Feeling Sculptacular Face Contour Kit during the launch of Happy Skin Summer Collection for 2014 that I would want to own one. So when I got a chance, I grabbed one at Plains and Prints, SM Megamall for Php1,199. I find the price slightly expensive given the size of the shading and highlight powders but Happy Skin happily justifies its price range with its quality. Even though it's homegrown brand, they strive on the quality of the products and source out new and exciting skin-loving ingredients all over to give us better makeup.

So I brushed off the feeling that I was spending too much on a 3.5g contour shade and 3g highlight shade. I was able to try Feeling Sculptacular Face Contour Kit during the launch, so I definitely know that I won't be disappointed when it comes to the performance of the product.

As always, the packaging is very chic, made from a sturdy cardboard material similar to Happy Skin blushes. The design is very architectural but had that Broadway vibe to it. When you open it, there's a decent size mirror and the two shades, between the two is what they call a Contour and Highlight Cheat Sheet that guides you where to apply the products. For noobs, this diagram will definitely come in handy. The back provides product information, how to use the product in words, ingredient list and size of the pans. you know the usual. The palette is almost the same height and width as an iPhone 5C in case you're wondering.

Don't let the small pan sizes of the contour and highlight powder fool you, these two are determined to outshine your previous bronzing and highlighting products. 

Contour Powder: A warm deep brown matte shade that I think would suit a lot of skin tone, from fairest to those with morena golden skin.

I know what you're thinking, the contour shade looks so dark on the pan. Same thing came to mind. But thankfully, it isn't. Using a slightly-dense brush, it only grabbed enough product to give the hallows of my cheeks the natural contour it needs, the shade is buildable depending on your desired look. The powder feels finely-milled so the feel of it is less powdery and it blends well to the skin.

Highlight Powder: A warm pearlized beige shade.

This is one of my favorite highlighter to date. Why? Because it provides the best sheen without making me look like an Ice Queen or a disco ball or worst, make me look oilier than I already do! Rather it just gives that brightening look that highlighters are suppose to do. It's not powdery at all and the slip feels good using either a brush or my fingertips.

Of course, Happy Skin product is not Happy Skin at all without the added benefits of skin-loving ingredients. So what makes Feeling Sculptacular Face Contour Kit a lot more special?
