Fall in love with next year's color of the year, Radiant Orchid.

Pantone recently declared Radiant Orchid as the official shade for 2014. Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of Pantone Institute of Color, mentioned that it takes a lot of research to decide what the next year's color is going to be. But it is basically seeing the antenna color being used of late.

The color means creativity, challenges, perfection and beauty. From last year's prosperous shade, and seeing as how the market has started to flourish and there were a lot of growth in the economy, Radiant Orchid seems to be the apt shade for 2014 as it denotes taking risks for innovation now that we are more secured. :)

For us beauty mavens and enthusiasts, the radiant orchid is definitely a chance to dip our brushes on some of our favorite purple eye makeup looks and enjoy more of the growing popularity of deep purple and mauve lippies.
