All The Glitz for 2014
On the chopping board right now is everything glitz and bling-y!
Prepping for New Year's Eve and loving it! Here's some of my favorite glittery product that'll help you look glamorous for Year 2014! :)
1. The Body Shop The Sparkler All Over Shimmer
This is probably my most favorite glittery makeup. Why? Because it's the most versatile shimmery product ever. I've had this for about 2 New Years already and I can't get enough! First off, the spray makes me feel like I'm an actress in 1920's spritzing myself with glitz. It gives that right amount of shimmer on the decolletage and shoulders that makes me want to shimmy. Can act as highlight for the brow bone. Mix it with your moisturizer, too!
2. Gosh's Light'N Shine Lip Glaze in 08
Add the perfect amount of glitter to your lips this last day of the year! Wear alone or on top of your favorite lippie! And don't worry about retouching in the dark while you watch the fireworks. This one has a light and mirror right on the tube! Yey!
3. Revlon Moon Candy
Give your tips some loving with a oxblood red to make your hands look fairer and worth holding as you gaze into the sky tonight with your lovah! Make it shine like fireworks by adding the glittery polish at one end. Just on the tips for that subtle glittery effect.
4. BYS Black and Silver Eye Liner
Change it up for tonight. Add a bit of sparkle to your liner with this smooth eyeliner. :) Wing it out and make your eyes reach for the stars tonight. :) Use as base if you want a more vibrant eye makeup.
5. MAC Glitter Eye Liner
I like to use this liner on top of a black regular one. It makes the gold pop even better. Makes for a great avant garde New year's Eve look. :)
6. T. LeClerc Velvet Shadow Pen Long Lasing in Chrome
Care for a silvery smokey look this season? Use this as base if you've got oily lids or alone as inner lid shade. It's very pigmented and lasting power that's worthy of an all-nighter. :)
7. BYS Glitter Pots in Silver Specturm and Gold Rush
Glitters, you say? Then go for the BYS Glitter Pots. Loaded with glitzy pigments. Let your eyes be the focus tonight instead of fireworks! :) This easy to use eye creme is a dream to with with. Just pat on to the lids and change your look dramatically to welcome the New Year.
8. Virginia Olsen Mineral Purpose Makeup in Gold Bars
Everybody should have gold pigments in their. It's one of the best way to give spark to your makeup look. Gold looks good in everyone and this one is not an exception. It's very vibrant and easy to blend. :)
9. BYS False Lashes in Glamazon
Who doesn't love a little bling on their lashes? No one! We love 'em and this New Year's Eve is one of those special days to rock them! If you're scared to look draggy, don't be! You'll look gorgeous in this one! The perfect number of sparkles that'll open your eyes even more than the brightly sky tonight!
10. Nars Eye Shadow in Euphrate
For a more toned down version of smokey eyes, go for this muted gray with just the hint of shimmer. Pat on to lids and blend with your favorite black silver shadow to define the crease. This is by far my favorite gray shadow. :)
-o-
There's so many things to be thankful this year. I got to travel beautiful places here in the Philippines, visited Hong Kong twice and worked with a lot of brands I admire. In my personal life, I am engaged and pregnant. Quite ready to take the roles of a wife and a mother. The year isn't as perfect but for me it's just right.
I really think that my positive outlook in life has helped me overcome a lot of this year's disappointments. But all in all, I find this blog to be one of the consistent thing in my life that gives me great joy and love. My advise? Do something that you always look forward to doing everyday, every minute and every hour. It may be blogging, vlogging, photography or plain walking your dog. It's important to have something can motivate you become the best version of yourself. No matter what season, no matter what year.
Let's all bid 2013 adieu and welcome 2014! :) Wishing you all the best! :)
Happy New Year!! :)
