There's a new makeup brand in town and it's one that'll surely put a smile on our faces!

Happy Skin Cosmetics is the brainchild behind two beauty mavericks, Jacqe Yuengtian-Guiterrez and Rissa Mananquil-Trillo! Both have built their careers in the beauty and fashion industry and have decided to theme up and give what every Filipina wants, a skin-loving makeup.

With breakthrough ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Cherry Blossom extracts and Japanese Tea extracts, Happy Skin has just reinvented the way we think about makeup.

I was one of the few bloggers who got to try out the product and I am hooked, lined and sinker! Not only are the packaging one that matches my current color faves but the finish and swipes are truly promising. And why not when this brand is headed by Manila's top beauty experts!

I personally think that the SS Second Skin Creme is the star-product of Happy Skin. This silicone-free foundation is great for everyday use as it doesn't clog the pores. It's creamy yet it glides on well to the skin. I can't wait to grab this off the counter when I visit Happy Skin counter soon.

Another eye-catchy product is the Brush 'Em Off Girl Makeup Brush Set. The acrylic handle, silver ferrule and angel white synthetic brush hair is too adorable for words. And it's only Php2,499! My golly! Plus it's house in a patent teal case with golden zipper and compartment for your Happy Skin must-haves.

As a foundation addict, I was instantly drawn to the Happy Skin Don't Get Mad, Get Even Hydrating Liquid Foundation. It comes in three shades that can accomadate fair to dark skin tones. I was first wary of the word hydrating but was surprised with the smooth finish. It's a lit from within type of finish especially when topped off with the Don't Get Mad, Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation.

Get Cheeky With Me blushes also caught my attention. It's gotta be one of the smoothest powders I've come across with. The swipe is silky, not powdery at all. It comes in two shades: First Time, a pink blush and Summer Fling, a peachy shade blush.

The crowd favorite during the launch is the Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippies. It comes in six flattering lip colors. Ladies during the launch enjoyed not only the pigmented swipes of these pens but the witty names as well. Getting to the testers was a toughie since all the girls wanted to try them all out. This is seriously a collectible. :)
