Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Multi-benefit BB Cream Review, Swatch, FOTD
How are you, ladies? I do hope you're safe and doing well after the weather we just had the past few days.
Here's something to brighten up your day after what we all experience from typhoon Maring. It's another BB Cream review!
For someone who claims that BB Cream does nothing for her skin, I sure do review a few of these babies here on my blog. But of course, I'm just trying to weed out the best for you. So, if you're curious to know what I think about this BB Cream, read on!
Based from one of the best selling variants of Celeteque DermoScience, they decided to add BB Cream to their roaster in order to answer the needs of their consumers. The brightening skin care line's been doing well and adding a BB Cream seems only a sensible action for the brand to help Filipinas with their lightening demands.
Although I would be immediately skeptic, I didn't brush off this product yet. I like whitening as much as the next Pinay and since I saw vast improvement on my skin while using Clinique's Dermawhite foundation, I thought that Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Multi-Benefit BB Cream as an alternative.
What Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Multi-Benefit BB Cream as an alternative does:
Brightens the skin
It has the trademark ngredients of DermoScience Biobenefity and Biowhite which both helps in improving the skintone and helps with reducing fine lines.
Reduces Oil and Shine
Yes, it's a matte BB Cream... Thank, God!
Pore Refining
The consistensy is fine and smooth that it fill in the pores for a more refined texture.
Sun Protection
This BB Cream provides both UVA and UVB protection of up to SPF 15.
Others that are worth noting are the following:
- Shade is neutral and light.
- Gone are the grey cast we use to get from mediocre BB Creams. It also comes in one shade so those with morena skin may not be able to enjoy the benfit of this BB Cream.
- Smooth texture and consistency that's easily blendable.
- Hydrating enough even for those with dry skin.
- Good for blemish-prone skin.
- Only Php325.00, available at leading department stores nationwide.
My Thoughts
Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Multi-Benefit BB Cream is lighter than my skin tone and since I use a lighter shade of compact powder, my face appears whiter on the photo below. But it melded once my skin's acidity started to react with the BB Cream and powder and I gained a balanced shade.
The coverage is great! It performed far better than I thought it be, really. I barely used concealer except under my eyes and it covered my blemishes quite well. For those with severe blemishes, concealers might still be needed.
Oil-control is not as impressive as I thought it would be but that's my skin. I'm extremely oily. I know someone who loved the staying power and she's combination skin type.
TIP: Apply with clean smooth finger and start from the tips of the nose, spreading it to the cheeks, forehead and chin for a brighter look. Contour if necessary.
Here's a photo of me right after application and the finish look.
I've always been impressed with Celeteque DermoScience skin care and the Brightening Multi-Benefit BB Cream just adds on to that. Good enough for everyday wear to even out my skin tone and hide my blemishes. It may not control my oily skin but at the very least gives me a smooth finish texture that allows me to feel better about my skin. As you can see, with proper application, this BB Cream can pass for full coverage.
So good news! It's a Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Multi-Benefit BB Cream fit for many Filipina skin types. Especially if you're fair to medium fair skin tone, oily to combination, blemish prone and wants to lighten your skin.
