And what I have here is the new Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipsticks. It's the latest lipstick collection from the no. 1 beauty brand in the country, Avon, and compared to the previous ones, they have a lot to say about this. I learned a few things about this new collection, thanks to the event they held the other night. I was able to talk to the New Product Innovation Director, Lisa Lamberty, who was gracious enough to share with us how the True Color Technology works in the new Avon makeup collection. She and her team learned that women want to get the same color that they see on the lipstick. True color payoff, vivid pigments and most importantly, lasting moisture.

When I tried the lipstick I was impressed with how true to the promise Avon was with the new Ultra Color Rich Lipstick. It is by far the best color payoff. And as a tradition in Shen's Addiction... (hey! that rhymes!) Here are the swatches. :)

Carnation has got to be my favorite. It's definitely the everyday kind of lipstick.

Country Rose is for women with warmer and deeper skin tones. It has bit of sheen that I'm not sure everyone will love but it's really striking.

Hibiscus is a fluorescent pink. It's really bright and lovely.

Lava Love is a  pink red lipstick. A safer red for those new in wearing one. Really forgiving, if you ask me.

Tangerine Tango is an extremely bright orange red lipstick. Not for the faint hearted but worth checking out.

If you've never checked out Avon lipsticks, then you're in for a treat. The Ultra Rich Lipsticks has really up to date shades. They are moisturizing and the pigmentation is nothing short of awesome.
