My underarms have got to be one of my body insecurities. Unlike other girls, I’m not confident with baring my kili-kili for the entire world to see. Why, you ask?

I have ruined my underarms like Lindsey Lohan did to her career. I made some bad choices when I was young. I didn't listen to my mom that I needed to get my underarms waxed instead of shaving it. I also used strong deodorants that reacted badly to my skin. The sad result, it’s slightly darker than it should be… It’s not exactly dark or brownish, but it definitely doesn't deserve a Belo billboard ad in EDSA.

Now that I’m equipped with better knowledge when it comes to beauty, I decided to take care of this skin woe. First, I decided to undergo laser hair removal treatment. I also use lighter fabrics to reduce skin trauma and make sure to gently exfoliate the underarms once a week.

And of course, I now choose a deo that doesn't cause skin darkening or those that contains strong ingredients that irritate my skin.

Case in point is  the new Belo Essentials Whitening Anti-Perspirant Deodorant that I started using just last week.

Having tried their whitening soap, I had high hopes for this specific product. What I’m trying now is the deo spray. It’s actually my preferred type of deo because it reduces the contact on the skin. Less contact, less friction, lesser skin trauma. It’s so much easier to apply and can act as a fire-y weapon, too. LOL! Spray also, I noticed, gives better and longer protection from perspiration. Something less to worry about this Summer.

My underarm looks lighter. Not yet worthy of its own ad, but given that Belo Essentials Whitening Anti-Antiperspirant has high concentration of Kojic Acid and Gigawhite,  I feel a bit more confident wearing sleeveless clothes more than ever!

In just four days, my underarms are noticeably smoother and less irritated after a long day of work or exercise.
