Last Friday, the girls and I met up at Early for the Benetton Mists Event of Ems. We missed this dynamic Mom that we all excused ourselves from work and enjoyed catching up during lunch time and stuffing our mouth with they rich and rich breakfast meals.

Of course, I prettified myself for my dearies. After all, it's not often that I get to sit down with my girls and spend time with them. It was also great time to whip out my new palette from BYS Cosmetics.

I love that it's named BYS, meaning Be Yourself, but the color range is flamboyant and bright that hints the being yourself should be seeing way beyond your normal look but becoming more adventurous and trying out something new.

Can you believe that the palette is only Php645 or so?? I'm loving this palette. It's pigmented and have good staying power. :)

Given that my outfit that day is worthy to be Barney's bride, I did a semi-smokey purple eye makeup look.

Smokey eyes doesn't have to be intimidating. One way to wear it is through colors like purples, blues, browns and greens. And it doesn't have to be all over the eyes. Keep it on the lower lids and just contour the crease with a warm brown shadow to deepen it.
