Product Review: Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara
Hi Everyone!
Sorry for the lack of updates! I'll try my best to write this week. Life's taking a hold of me and I can't find the time yet to write. Hopefully this week will be a mellow one and I'll have more time to do more posts. But even with a busy schedule, I still find time to try new makeup and skin care and review them in my head. Here's one that I did and have written/typed for you!
Max Factor Xperience doesn't end with just the Weightless Foundation that I raved about here. What I have now is the Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara. To be honest, I haven't tried any mascara from this brand. But learning how much other beauty bloggers and guru's been raving about.
What's interesting about Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara is that the formulation is mousse-like that it makes the consistency in between wet and dry. And because of it, the mascara definitely feels lightweight.
It's so lightweight that it won't weigh down the curl of the lashes and can provide volume without dread of clumping. A bonus which you would probably be surprise with (as was I), it that Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara also has a lengthening effect.
And best of all, it has the award-winning iFX latex brush that gets into every lashes, top and bottom.
What I love...
- Mousse formulation that allows me to coat my lashes a number of times without the fear of clumping or my lashes sticking together.
- Lengthening effect
- Gives volume but it's done in a natural way
- Doesn't weigh lash curl
- Easy to remove
- Brush wand is easy to work with
- Mascara feels light and I hardly feel I was wearing mascara at all
- This really feels like a natural-mascara with not much chemicals in it..
What I don't...
- Not waterproof which could smudge when it comes in too much contact with water/tears/moisture.
- Kind of steep for a 7.2 ml mascara
Here are the results:
No Mascara |
With Mascara (one coat) (both top and bottom lashes) |
FOTD using Max Factor Xperience Mascara |
Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara is clearly a very good mascara for someone who loves the natural look. The Xperience range is definitely geared towards looking more natural and polished. You know, the feeling of not wearing too much makeup and yet we won't compromise looking great? And since it's not that thick waterproof mascara, removing it is a lot easier, too. No panda eyes for sure.
I really love mascaras. I can't call my makeup application complete without them. I love the way it coats my lashes and enhances it. Most of all, I love how it instantly makes me look fixed and more awake/alert. If eye are the windows to the soul, then our lashes that flutter must be the curtains.. and we wouldn't want dull drapes, do we?
Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara (Php695) is available at all Rustan's Department Store and Max Factor counters Nationwide.
