Max Factor has just recently launched its latest collection. It's a marriage of the some of the most natural ingredients and Max Factor's famous cosmetic technology. This whole collection is all about achieving a polished natural look as seen on the runways.

Cosmetic trends have shown to be on move towards a more natural look, not overly done and gearing more on ingredients that are a lot safer for the skin. Of course, Max Factor is one of the brands that advocates this look as a front runner in cosmetics.

Bobby Carlos, sought-after Filipino makeup artist, graced the event along with the beautiful Megan Young as his muse to give us tips on how to achieve the Max Factor Xperience look that is inspired by nature and the latest trends in makeup this year. Max Factor invited the women from different publications as well as online writers and editors to see the wonder of Max Factor Xperience in person at Manila Peninsula Suite 1101. The ladies enjoyed testing all the products. :)

Lovely Megan Young with her golden beauty graced the event as the model for Bobby Carlos' demo of Max Factor's newest collection.

If you notice, Bobby only applied the Max Factor's weightless foundation as one would apply concealers and highlighters. He applied it on the forehead, undereyes and highest planes of the cheeks, bridge of the nose and chin. Bobby advised that we don't need to apply the foundation all over our face, only on the part we need it to, to cover darkundereyes, blemishes and uneven skintones.

See the result? Amazing, right? Megan Young have beautiful skin to begin with and with the Weightless foundation, it instantly brightened up her look and made her skin look more even. I love the immediate transformation. Bobby practically used the foundation as highlighter and concealer for under eyes.

Bobby then set Megan's foundation with a powder to make it appear more polished.

Max Factor Xperience is all about making a more natural look or the no-makeup makeup look so for the eyeshadow Bobby chose a brown eyeshadow that compliment's Megan's skin tone.

Bobby then enhanced Megan's already rich lashes with the Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara. Like me, Max Factor thinks of mascaras essential to creating a complete look, any look at that. The award-winning iFX brush compliments the mousse consistency of the Max Factor Xperience Volumising Mascara. It delivers the right amount with almost no clumping as it also doesn't weigh down the curl of your lashes. Rather it gives a volumized well-defined lashes making your eye appear brighter.

For a more polished, natural look, Bobby applied the Max Factor Xperience Sheer Gloss Balm. With mango and shea butter, both known for their moisturising effects, are contained in this wonder balm giving the lips the care it needs. The shade used on Megan is gave her lips the right amount of natural-looking puckers and a sheen that isn't too overwhelming. It's definitely the lip product for those who care to look simple but classy.

Isn't this the look that we all want to achieve? And it only took a few steps to make it happen. I love that Max Factor still gets to imitate the looks that donned the catwalks but still make it easier for women like me to create it at the comfort of my own home with just a few products. It's such an array of luxurious products without causing a lot of dent in the pocket! :)

I'm very impressed. The Weightless Foundation reminded me a bit of BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer with its Cucumber and Jojoba but it is very matte and has a lot of shades to choose from! The Volumising Mascara was very easy to use, consistensy wasn't goopy and the wand delivered the right amount of product to my eyes. The Sheer Gloss Balm is definitely a nice choice for women who wants to upgrade to a more luxurious balm.

I've played with the Max Factor Xperience  and I love the results. I used them for my Valentine's Day FOTN and Gold Member FOTD. :)
