FOTD: Fantasy Blues
It's another FOTD! :) I wore this look at the Vector GPS launch. It's a nifty gadget for those who frequently get lost and it's not just for the car since it's portable. It's almost the same size as my Iphone. I'm thinking of getting the BF one for his birthday since he's a guy.... Therefore, hates asking for directions. LOL!
As for me, I pride myself in knowing my way around. :) It's very hard for me to get lost in this Metro. Once I've passed by a certain place, it would take a lot for me to forget it. Yes, I'm quite proud of that and I love being road-savvy. :) And it's helpful since I drive alone. But having a GPS woudln't hurt if only to have something nice for my very helpful car, Goldie.
Let's get on to the products used:
Face:
Max Factor Weightless Foundation (Brown Hessian 75)
Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer (02)
Ellana Premium Blend Foundation (Hazelnute Latte) (now called Perfect Blend)
Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Blush (Fresh Rose)
MAC Bronzing Powder (Refined Golden LE)
MAC Bronzing Powder (Refined Golden LE)
If you notice in my past FOTD's and FOTN's, I haven't used any concealer for blemishes or dark spots because my skin have improved in the past few months. I still have dark spots, left over scars, blackheads and whiteheads but using foundation I've bee using lately (Bobbi Brown and Max Factor) has been enough to cover everything else. And combining it with a mineral foundation which has great coverage sets it perfectly and flawlessly.
Eyes:
Ellana Eye Primer
Ellana MPM (Fantasy)
Ellana MPM (Paradise)
Ellana MPM (Hush)
Wet n Wild Gel Liner
Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner (Black)
Maybelle Lash Stiletto (US Version)
ModelCo EyeBrowz Designer Brow Kit (Medium)
Lips:
Revlon Creme Gloss (Patent Leather Pink)
The look is basically partnering what I wore which is a cobalt blue top, striped blue skirt and a long grey cardigan. Mineral makeup is very close to my heart, especially Ellana, as its one of the few MMU's that worked for me not to mention its affordability. But like the next beauty addict, I also appreciate new innovations that traditional makeup are coming up with. Max Factor Weightless Foundation is one that I've been loving lately. I'll be posting a review about it and a separate FOTD of a before and after look for you to notice how a seemingly tinted moisturizer-like makeup foundation can provide a good coverage. :)
On a different note...
I attended an FGD yesterday and I love how bloggers' opinions are being listened to and they really picked our brains during the said discussion. It was nice to see fellow beauty bloggers who's the movers and shakers of this bb industry and those are on their way to becoming one themselves as well. As always, I appreciate being among these people as I never really see this blog to be important enough to be a part of something like that. It is after all just my small space in this ginormous cyberworld.
But it is nice that I don't have to validate myself, others do that for me now. I feel like I don't have to prove myself since everyday in the mail and emails I get and read something that says I matter in this beauty world.
How about you? Do you get to do what you love the most? If not, what do you do to get there? :)
