It's gold everywhere! Thanks to Krisca of Visions and Expressions for the pictures shown below. She provided me with photos to share with you so we can drool over the fabulous golden collection of Manila's finest designers namely Dennis Lustico, JC Buendia, Jun Escario and Rajo Laurel.

The inspiration was "Recapture the Radiance of your Youth" just what Pond's Gold Radiance is going to achieve by its gold micro-particles that has been known to improve skin texture and elasticity. Something we all want to achieve...

As I'm excited with Pond's Gold Radiance, I'm as excited that Pond's opened the Philippine Fashion Week with this Gold-themed collections. The country's most fabulous models and celebrities strutted the runway with their good looks and physique, a definite inspiration for us to start caring for our face and body, don't you think?

Dennis Lustico's creations first strutted the runway of the SMX Convention Center. The demure and sophisticated tone of his designs echoes a modern Filipiniana. The draping on the necklines is something new for me that adds quite a character to the soft clean lines that finish off the dresses. My favorite is Sarah Meier-Albano's soft flowing yellow gold dress with fringe neck draping.

JC Buendia must have had Stepford Wives in mine when he created this selection. The fifties was resounding in the A line cut of the skirts. But the long pants are quite a rebellious touch to the whole collection. The gowns are well-made and the materials looks like sheets of gold. walking on the runway, I love the Carolina Herrera feel, sophisticated, soft yet has a lot of character. My favorite is Rissa Manaquil's haltered gown. She looked simply amazing in it.

Jun Escario must have thought of Saturday Night Fever. A child of the seventies perhaps? Jun Escario captured Gold the way I like it. The models looks like washed in liquid gold strutting the runway I'm sure. Although the styles and shapes are not forgiving for my bulges, I will endeavor to eat carrots and peas just to lose weight and wear all of this collection. Amazing!! Bravo for Jun Escario! My Favorite? Marina Benipayo's low cut haltered gown. That's sooo me!

Rajo Laurel encompassed his golden collection from daytime to evening. He's masterful skills are evident in each design and fabric. I am amazed by his talent. Simple and yet there's a certain je nais se quoi to it. My favorite, Kelly Missa's tube top and cream pants.
