It's hard waking up in the morning. For years now, my biological clock starts at 10 a.m and its only now that it going back to the normal 7-8 a.m. wake up time . I fail to always grab a bite to eat for breakfast or brunch, so i end up going to school on an empty stomach. That didn't help at all with my studying.

Mom always told me that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. She would wake me up sooooo early just so i could eat breakfast. She even said I could go back to bed after buut we all know its hard to catch sleep. Needless to say, my mom is a morning person while I'm not (thanks to cable TV and internet that keeps me up til late).

Mom enjoys breakfast a lot. We would always spend our early Sunday morning after mass at Jollibee and Dulcinea in Libis, Quezon City. She would have the sardines pandesal at Dulcinea while I get something from Jollibee or bacon at Dulcinea. Ever since mom died, I don't go there anymore for reasons that Mom is the only person who can wake me up so early to have breakfast. And when I do get a chance to visit Jollibee, breakfast is far long gone from their menu.

Now, Jollibee has just extended their breakfast hours for sleepy people like me. til 11 am! I can enjoy my Chicken Tocino meal once again. Wouldn't it be nice to tell mom this? If she's here, I'm sure I can tell her when she tries to wake me up, "One more minute, please! There's still breakfast at Jollibee, Ma." No need to hurry. You can have it delivered, too! What a joy!
