Tutorial/FOTD: Gold Nuggets Eyestudio Palette by Maybelline (Neutral Brightening Eye Look)
This a tutorial using my Maybelline EyeStudio Palette in Gold Nuggets. I've had this for more than a year but it is only now that I got to use it often because I'm seeing Maybelline in a whole new light.
If you have noticed my Glowing Shen Look, it's the same eye makeup I wore. Its obviously very neautral and good for everyday look. It brightens up the eyes and really, who doens't love palettes with all the colors you can choose and use?
Enough blabbing, heres the tut!
1. Apply eye primer or base. Swipe the beige eyeshadow (b) all over eyelid up to the brow area
2. Using a pencil brush of the sponge tip included in the palette, apply the shimmery white (a) eyeshadow on the tearduct. Sweep off with a blending brush or the brush included the copper orange (c) eyeshadow on to your crease, moving outward to brighten the eyes.
3. With the sponge tip or a pencil brush, define the couter V with the silver shade (d). this step is optional. It should roughly look like the picture above.
4. Apply eyeliner and wing it out a little. Curl and apply mascara to lashes
This could be your end result. :) Looks may vary depending on eye shapes.

I'm loving my Beach Tan Bronzer from Mineraux and my new lipstick from Maybelline.
my "kikay" pose. :)
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial! :)
This is a great year round look to get rid of that tired looking eyes. Note that I didn't waterline my eyes. On days like this, I don't usually waterline and i'm sure many of you out there are not into waterlining. You can even skip the liner part and go staight to mascara. But do curl your lashes because it opens the eyes so much better. :) I also don't apply eyeshadows on the bottom part of my lashes because it tends to pull out my eyebags, making it more noticeable. :)
Those are just some tips that I'm sharing with you because I find them working for free. Feel free to experiment. These tutorials I make is just to give you an idea on how to use your products. Make-up is an art so express it anyway you like.
Show me what you came with!
much love,
Shen
